
Vetta Racquet Sports is seeking passionate and skilled Tennis Instructors to join our dynamic team. As a Racquet Sports Professional, you'll be responsible for conducting high-quality lessons and clinics for all your players. Your primary goal will be to ensure our guests receive outstanding service by providing a fun and energetic experience while always maintaining player safety.
Conduct Lessons & Clinics: Lead engaging and effective individual and group lessons, as well as clinics, for players of all ages and skill levels in tennis.
Deliver Outstanding Service: Provide an exceptional experience for all participants, focusing on their enjoyment, skill development, and overall satisfaction.
Create Fun & Energetic Environment: Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every session, making lessons enjoyable and motivating for all players.
Maintain Player Safety: Consistently prioritize and enforce safety protocols on the courts, ensuring a secure environment for all participants.
Skill Development: Teach fundamental and advanced techniques, strategies, and rules of tennis, tailoring instruction to individual and group needs.
Curriculum Development (as needed): Contribute to or follow established curricula for various programs and clinics.
Promote Programs: Help promote Vetta Racquet Sports' programs, encouraging participation and retention.
Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, representing Vetta Sports positively.
Court Management: Assist with court preparation and breakdown as needed, ensuring equipment is ready and courts are clean.
Instructional Experience: Proven experience in both youth and adult instruction for tennis.
Racquet Sports Knowledge: Strong playing ability and comprehensive knowledge of the rules, techniques, and strategies of tennis.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively teach and motivate diverse groups.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and reliability.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and skill levels.
Certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., USTA, PTR) is highly preferred.
Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Work primarily takes place indoors on tennis courts.
Requires standing, walking, demonstrating movements, and engaging in physical activity for extended periods.
May be exposed to varying noise levels typical of a sports facility.
Employment classification: This is a part-time, hourly position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week.
