Vetta Sports is looking for an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk & Concessions Attendant. In this dual-role, you will be the first point of contact for our members at the front desk and also play a key part in the bar and concessions area. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing exceptional service, and efficiently handling a wide range of administrative, sales, and operational tasks.
Front Desk Operations: Enthusiastically greet all members and guests upon arrival, answer incoming calls, and assist with program registrations and court usage reservations.
Customer Service Excellence: Provide friendly, prompt, and courteous service to all patrons. Answer questions about programs, schedules, and facility amenities, and resolve minor issues or escalate them to management as needed.
Bar & Concessions: Expertly set up, run, and break down concession stands. Accurately sell food, non-alcoholic beverages, and alcoholic beverages (where applicable) to patrons.
Sales and Transactions: Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, including operating a point-of-sale (POS) system for both front desk and concession sales.
Inventory Management: Assist with stocking and organizing bar and concession inventory. Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to management.
Compliance and Safety: Strictly adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. If applicable, follow all state and local laws for the sale of alcohol, including checking IDs.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and concessions area throughout your shift.
General Assistance: Be prepared to assist in other areas of the facility as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Previous experience in a customer service, food service, hospitality, or front desk role is preferred.
A naturally enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable demeanor with strong verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to quickly learn new software, including reservation and registration platforms.
Must be able to handle money and process payments accurately.
Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic.
Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Working Conditions:
Work primarily takes place indoors at concession stands and bar areas.
Involves standing for long periods, light lifting, bending, and reaching.
May be exposed to varying noise levels and temperatures.
Employment classification
This is a part-time, hourly position requiring approx. 15–20 hours per week.
